Does our psyche determine space around us? In which corners of our minds and our cities are all unasked questions. Narrow streets, wide thoughts. Boulevards and meandering thoughts. Existence in space and a sense of what the environment offers us.
Feelings that translate over from the individual to a collective coagulation into unquestioned theories about “good” and “bad” spaces. What is it that we feel in our environment? How do we feel about it, why don’t we think about it? Cracks in the tarmac, cracks in the façades, cracks in reality itself.
Maybe it’s just the eternal subjective perception of space, maybe it’s just a sigh against the missed opportunities for collective cooperation between people, professions, countries.
What lies behind feelings of resentment, joy, curiosity, anxiety, love, sadness and happiness, individual and common, and everything in between that our environment evokes deep in our thoughts.
