#utisarh exhibition and opening of the festival

World Architecture Day, the 1st of October was marked this Monday with the 2nd edition of the Night of Architecture event, in the Architectural faculty in Belgrade, as well as with, in the Novi Sad’s Dom b612 culture centre, the opening night of the student architecture festival – Oktobarh 2018, alongside WDWRM’s experimental ambiental electronic noises.
The opening hosted, beside WDWRM’s fine electric vibes already familiar to the Dom’s audience the #utisarh exhibition, assembled by the Oktobarh’s followers through the social networks as a series of photo-answers to some of the festival organisers’ questions – Which is your favourite construction? Which building sheltered you from the rain? Which structure’s courtyard did you use to play in?
The opening was made official when the co-creator of Oktobarh, Igor Rajković announced the program of the festival, noting that this year, the form of it would be different than the previous two years – the events would be grouped into weekends in order to make it easier for the audience to visit them.

Student design workshop meant to address the topic of demolished Franz Joseph bridge, once bridging the Danube river and translate it into a concept for a “living bridge”.

Hibrid(ge) exhibition and closing of the festival

After the Conference, Dom b612 will host another exhibition as well as the closing of the festival itself. Organisers will pay their regards to the wonderful audience and the blood and tears the volunteers had shed for the festival and cheer to the ending of the Oktobarh’s third edition with amazing music in the background.
