Eliminating social stratification, coercion and alienation, although located in the future, the New Humanity of Paleotopia retrieves to the non-alienated living of the pre-cultural Palaeolithic, only this time cleansed of the fear for survival thanks to the GRID.
Even in cities like Rome, where there are two architecture schools, there had never been a comparison. Neither of the students know what was happening in each other’s works. Our project was born from this starting point, an idea that gave birth to an exhibition – the first point of contact in a world so divided.
The two series by Tana Jeić deal with themes of “architecture” and “reports”, respectively, proposed within the photography course of the School of Design in Zagreb, Croatia.
The base idea of the building was that all the apartments have double orientation and to separate the building in four parts based on function and the way of living. For the very objects, the greenery in between them is very important, as it is a part of the buildings, but also of the platform between the buildings.
LUX is located near Lent, on the south bank of the river Drava, with a wonderful view overlooking the historic city center. The project also includes a pedestrian bridge which forms a connection between the river banks.
